Dr. Tom also contributed to the transformation of the ACMD system into Integrated Air Defense Systems (IADS). 

Dr. Tom has worked for many different companies in his career, including MacDonald Douglas, Garrett Engine, ARINC, Allied Signals, and Northrop-Grumman, etc. He contributed significantly while working in these companies.
